Thanksgiving Day is just a few days away and the Christmas Holidays are fast approaching!  Where did the time go?  Fall is already fading away, and the signs of winter are already evident. 

The economy may be faltering or in recovery, yet God is still Jehovah Jireh, He is the God of More than Enough!  He is Jehovah Shalom, the God of our Peace.  I believe that we are going to see our God open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that we will not be able to contain it and that we are going to have His Peace in our minds, hearts and spirits!  My expectation is in Jehovah, The Almighty, and with Him All Things Are Possible!  I encourage you to stand on the Word as never before, for we “walk by faith, and not by sight!”  God is not going to forsake us, and we should not worry nor fear the enemy. Satan is already a defeated foe.  We are going to wait on the Lord regardless of the situations and circumstances we may face, for Our God is a Strong Deliverer, A Mighty God is He!

In a few days, Thanksgiving will be upon us and I believe that most of us plan to sit down to a wonderful delicious meal with family and friends, I want to remind you the true meaning of Thanksgiving was a day when the Pilgrims and the Native Americans came together in fellowship and gave thanks to God for the harvest that had kept them alive.  The cornucopia represents the horn of plenty, and it all started with a seed!  The Native Americans extended their friendship and shared their seeds with the Pilgrims and also showed them how to plant in a land where they were strangers.  The harvest belonged to those who gave the seed, as well as to those who planted and watered the seed.  All were able to share the bounty of blessings together.

Today, I am asking each of you that read this article or letter to set aside a Seed of Thanksgiving!  To sow it into this church without walls and outreach ministry which I believe has been instrumental into bringing forth a harvest into the lives of people all over the world, I pray including yours, your church and families.  Please take a moment to pray and ask the Holy Spirit about sowing a Special Seed of Thanksgiving to be a blessing to OASIS WORSHIP CENTER.  Would you take the time to give back just a portion of what God has been so gracious to give to you this year, a seed is small in size, but it has the potential to grow and reproduce itself once it is sown into fertile ground, a harvest comes forth.  I know that those who will take the time to plant your Seed of Thanksgiving into my ministry, you shall witness a harvest before the end of this year because God has promised it according to His Word.

“Offer unto God thanksgiving and pay thy vows unto the most High:

And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee,

 and thou shalt glorify me.”  Psalms 50:14, 15

“And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD,

 offer it at your own will.” Lev. 22:29
