WHY SHOULD I LEARN
THE INTERNET?
Recently Apostle Williams received
an email from one of our international associate ministers. This is her reply
to him, plus further comments regarding those who are in International Ministers. We hope you will read this article and realize the wonderful opportunity you have
to truly make a difference in your churches and ministries via learning how to use the World Wide Web.

To: Apostle Loretta Williams
From: Rev. Sowah: How are
you doing? Of late I have been very busy with ministry so I hardly go online, I am sorry about this. I wish I could do something
about the situation, but can’t, ministry is my passion and life so I do it with
all my heart, strength and might. If you can send me e-mail that will be great, because I do check my mails often, Be
blessed.
Apostle Williams writes: Good
day Rev. Sowah Glad to hear from you. Just want to encourage you to continue
to "expand your horizons" by going online. There are so many wonderful opportunities
for ministers who know how to use the internet, that they can share with other ministers.
The benefits and resources are unlimited to those who know how to net-work online.
This is a greater ministry than Jesus ever had the opportunity to reach during his life time. Ministry is more than preaching and teaching, so I encourage you to start connecting with others who may
be able to net-work with you and assist your ministry in your country to grow, and further enable you to better serve those
in your community. There are all types of medical, educational, financial assistance
to those who know where to look on the Internet.
This would be a tremendous asset to your people and ministry.
It is more than inviting someone from America to come speak at a Crusade or
sending pictures of the needy people in one's country. The internet provides
an opportunity to make others aware of who you are, where you live and what you are doing.
It connects people.
I pray you will use the internet more frequently as a tool of ministry while you have the opportunity. I look forward to talking with you again
To our Readers of Oasis World Wide News Publication:
Apostle Williams writes: I am going to give you 3 reasons why you
should learn to use the Internet.
1. Unity
Eph 4:11 And he gave some,
apostles; and some, prophets; and
some, evangelists; and some, pastors
and teachers;
Eph 4:12 For the perfecting
of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13 Till we all come
in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of
the fulness of Christ: KJV
The Devil does everything possible to keep the people of God divided.
It’s time for the people of God to unite as one, so that we can accomplish
and fulfill the vision that Christ has for the latter day church. No man or woman
is created to be alone for an indefinite amount of time. Isolation, will teach
your endurance, and you will learn to be dependant upon God. In a battle there
is strength is numbers, especially when the army has been well trained and prepared.
“A house divided against itself can’t stand.” God has given each leader a responsibility to watch over those assigned to you, this
people are just a portion of His the flock,
Jesus said, “I am the good Shepard”
1 Cor 12:12- talks about the body being many members, but one. The day is approaching when God is going to Unite the entire body as one. We need to prepare for this day, and change our thought process of being individual ministries with our
own purpose. Each minister has a unique call to minister within the body, and
people are drawn to you because of the “anointing” upon your life from God.
Imagine what would happen when all these unique gifts and talents within the body come together in worship, praise
and spiritual war-fare!
The Internet is a “tool” that can make this a reality
by uniting people globally who have been chosen by God and given a vision for the work of the Kingdom. It’ not about building your ministry, but our focus should be on the unification of God’s ministry.
Answer these questions:
1. Where are you going
to put the people who come to hear you preach, as your ministry expands?
2. Where is the money
going to come from to buy the land, build and construct a facility that not only will be the church, but the school and community
center?
3. How are you going
to feed the poor who come knocking at your door when times get hard?
4. Do you plan to work
full time in ministry to financially support your family?
5. How do you balance
ministry and a full or part time job that financially supports you, because the church doesn’t have the monies to sustain
you?
Questions: What are you going to do with all those souls,
when you get them?
My suggestion: LEARN TO
USE THE INTERNET! A GROWING CHURCH, NEEDS LEADERS
TO GROW WITH THE TIMES WE LIVE IN, NO MATTER WHAT COUNTRY YOU LIVE IN.

2. Communication is the key! I’ve been so disappointed with leaders
who don’t realize the importance of maintaining active communication with those who can strengthen and guide you. Relationships falter and fail, because of the lack of communication. The Devil knows that this is an important tool in unifying the army of God.
Instructions and vital information is received and sent that could mean victory or defeat.
Communication allows us the ability to be able to net-work with others,
to gather information and to request help or assistance in times of trouble or need.
The Internet is the best tool in this day, to be able to communicate,
share the gospel, expand and enlarge ministry to global proportions. It connects
people who otherwise would never have the opportunity to see or know someone from another country, social back-ground, or
religious back-ground.
3. Resources become
unlimited! The Word says,
“The wealth of the wicked belong to the just”
Who are the just? We are, the saints and ministers of God! There is so much fraud, scams, 409, and mis-representation on the internet, and people are using ministry
and the reputation of the church to benefit for personal gain.
Why? Because we the saints
and ministers of God, don’t take time to use the internet! I have received
emails from people who promise me huge sums of money from sick or dead relatives, others who are using false names of bank and financial businesses with scams
and fraudulent accounts promising donations if you give them your account number or wire transfer monies, or using innocent children to get money for non-existent orphanages.
This is how the devil is using evil people to steal what God has set aside the just and righteous.
There is much available though grants, sponsors, private patrons who
are willing to support charitable organizations who are legitimate (incorporated or have registered with the government as
a non-profit or religious organization) people and businesses want to contribution to those who help and assist the needy,
provide educational programs that teach and train various skills, and outreach ministries that support the local communities. This is the extension of ministry that should be active in our churches. The church is the heart of the community.
As Editor in Chief of Oasis News Publication and Chief Apostle and President of Oasis Interdenominational Ministries Fellowship International, my disappointment
has been with leaders, ministers and pastors that lack the patience to persevere long term commitment.
“Why is your focus so small, that you only see what God
has promised to do for your church or ministry and not the body as a whole? So
many want the benefits without accepting the responsibility of commitment, and they refuse to be obedient and complete the
instructions given to them, by those who are sent to mentor and instruct them.”
Those called by God, are willing to receive the necessary leadership
training from spiritual mentors, that will enable them to become qualified leaders and excel in ministry.
Matt 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
Just because you’re a great preacher, who can expound the gospel and
win many souls to God, doesn’t make you a good administrator or care-taker of your ministry.
12:27 Now ye are the body
of Christ, and members in particular.
1Co 12:28 And God hath set
some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps,
governments, diversities of tongues.
1Co 12:29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
1Co 12:30 Have all the gifts
of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
1Co 12:31 But covet earnestly
the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
As an instructor and apostle, my responsibility is to train and prepare
ministers and church leaders, through the Leadership Training Academy Seminars and Workshops.
I constantly recommend to pastors and ministers, and church members
to learn the Internet! We should encourage our youth to complete school and become
computer literate so they can be an asset to further ministry. This will also
prepare church members to be good stewards, with financial increase and wealth, and provide better jobs and marketing skills. Sadly, most pastors don’t think these things aren’t important, or that
it relates to ministry. Their main focus
is preaching and reaching souls.
