USA 2013 Spring Convocation
An Oasis is a place where you go
to quench your thirst, be refreshed from traveling through the highways and byways, seek peace and solace and find contentment
for your spirit and soul, rest for your mind and body. Come to the Oasis
Worship Center and you will

Oasis
Worship Center USA Spring Convocation was held on Friday, March 8th through
Sunday, 10th at the Country Inn & Suites Chicago
O’Hare Northwest located at 2200 S. Elmhurst Rd.
in Mt. Prospect, IL. a
suburb which is about 20 minutes from Downtown Chicago.
The Theme was: Have you not heard? He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth
strength. (Isaiah 40:28) Hast thou not known? hast
thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is
weary? there is no searching of his understanding. (40:29) He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. (40:30) Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: (40:31) But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount
up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS –
DEVELOPING LISTENING SKILLS
In order to successfully
communicate our thoughts and intentions to others, we need to develop our current listening abilities so that we can follow
what I call the Three Incentives, 3 very important rules that helps leaders fine tune their ability to be able to captivate
an audience, as well as receive clarity from any discussion, on any topic:
1. Learn to Listen
2. Be Sensitive to
Hear
3. Act in Obedience
Option # 1. Read an
excerpt of the lesson summary on the (Apostle Loretta Williams) Leadership Training Academy
Page on Face Book, follow the instructions for the assignment on the page and pay the $10 registration fee to receive the Transcript by email attachment
prior to the Online Teleconference or Web-Seminar.
Option # 2. Those who
don’t have a Face Book account you can request the Communication Skills Lesson send an email to oasisnewspublication@yahoo.com it will be sent to you in adobe.pdf format when you submit
your $10 registration fee.
When your $10
registration fee has been submitted, you will receive notification by email for your Lesson Review with the date and time
of the next Online Session which are scheduled on bi-weekly on Tuesdays. This
course will involve @ 2 sessions one in March and the following in April, each session will
cost $10 prior to the scheduled date. Certificates will be given to those who successfully complete the entire Communication Skills Series.
